Founded in 2018, The Village Trip is an annual festival celebrating arts and activism across Greenwich Village and the East Village. Founded by journalist and author Liz Thomson and inspired originally by the New York folk revival, it quickly evolved to embrace a wide variety of music, though the annual Bitter End celebration of the 1960s folk scene retains a special place at its heart.
